15 Nov 4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA DraftKings Lineup (11/15/19)
4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA DraftKings Lineup for November 15, 2019
Top NBA DFS Play:
James Harden (PG/SG, $12,300)
James Harden’s salary hit it’s season’s peak tonight, but he is an extremely tough player to fade right now. He is producing an elite 71.3 DraftKings fantasy points per game in his last five contests, and his workload will continue to grow with the Houston Rockets’ squad beat up.
Houston is without the services of Eric Gordon (knee), Clint Capela (head), Danuel House Jr. (back), and Nene Hilario (hip) on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers. With all of these players out and Capela leaving the game late in the fourth quarter on Wednesday, Harden was forced to play a season-high 44 minutes.
It’s a small sample size, but when all of the above-mentioned players are off the court, Harden posts a 47.4% usage rate and scores 2.23 DraftKings fantasy points per minute.
Tonight’s meeting with Indiana is projected to stay close (HOU -6) and be high scoring (225.5 game total). Harden will most likely play around 40 minutes again and will be on his home floor, where the former MVP scored a notable 5.16 more DraftKings fantasy points per game over the last two years.
He is easily the most expensive player on the board, but Harden’s ridiculous ceiling tonight is something fantasy owners don’t want to miss out on.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that Russell Westbrook is expected to rest either tonight or tomorrow. I am expecting him to suit up tonight and rest Saturday, but if the opposite unfolds, Harden becomes a must play.
Value NBA DFS Plays:
Domantas Sabonis (PF/C, $8,700)
Myles Turner (ankle) is out for another game tonight, keeping Domantas Sabonis as the Indiana Pacers’ starting center. In his past five games with Turner on the sidelines, Sabonis has been tremendous, averaging 49.2 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
He contributed a double-double in each start, and tonight, he gets a friendly matchup against the Houston Rockets, who will also be without their starting center Clint Capela (head).
When Capela is on the bench this season, Houston sees their defensive rating drop a significant 5.5 points. Sabonis is a strong bet to top 50 DraftKings fantasy points in this spot.
Tyson Chandler (C, $4,000)
Tyson Chandler is starting in place of the injured Clint Capela tonight against the Indiana Pacers. Capela was able to play 32 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers, but after he exited, Chandler stepped in and recorded 20.25 DraftKings fantasy points in 16 minutes.
The 18-year veteran is scoring 1.0 DraftKings fantasy points per minute this season, and he will have to play 20+ minutes tonight.
Behind him, the only center left on Houston’s roster is Isaiah Hartenstien, who has yet to log a single minute this season.
The Pacers give up the seventh most DraftKings fantasy points per game to centers this season. Chandler’s upside isn’t the highest, but he is a viable option given the lack of cheap plays for tonight’s slate.
Jeff Teague (PG, $5,300)
In his return from a four-game absence due to an illness, Jeff Teague played excellent. He came off the bench and tallied 33.5 DraftKings fantasy points in 23 minutes.
Tonight, he should move back into the starting five against the Washington Wizards with Andrew Wiggins out due to personal reasons. The sample size is small, but when Teague plays without Wiggins this season, he sees notable increases to all his rates. His usage rate rises 2.6%, and his assist percentage sky rockets 23.2%, helping him to 1.67 DraftKings fantasy points per minute.
On top of an increased role without Wiggins, this is a gorgeous matchup for Teague. The Wizards currently rank as the second-worst defense in the league and play at the eighth-fastest pace.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have the highest implied team total of tonight’s 16 teams by six points. Teague is a steal tonight.
