Top NBA DFS Play

Anthony Davis (PF/C, $10,000)

Anthony Davis seized the moment when he battled his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, on Wednesday night. He scored 61.25 DraftKings fantasy points and secured a win for the Los Angeles Lakers.

He is producing 57.1 DraftKings fantasy points per game in his last five contests. Tonight, AD will keep it going in a great matchup against the Washington Wizards.

So far this season, Washington ranks dead last in defensive efficiency and seventh in pace. They are allowing third-most points in the paint per game, as well.

The Lakers currently possesses the highest implied team total of tonight’s slate with 123.25 points in Los Angeles.

Over the last three seasons, Davis contributed three more DraftKings points per game when on his home floor. He is extremely underpriced at $10,000, and the “Brow” is a lock for 50+ DraftKings fantasy points tonight.

Value NBA DFS Plays

Joel Embiid: (C, $9,000)

Joel Embiid is averaging nearly eight less DraftKings fantasy points per game this season in comparison to last. Why? He is now sharing the court with Al Horford in Philadelphia.

Tonight, Horford is out (rest) against the New York Knicks. In the only other game that Horford missed this season, Embiid scored 61 DraftKings fantasy points, which is 15.2 more than his current average for the year.

Additionally, the Philadelphia 76ers are expected to be without starting shooting guard Josh Richardson, who is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. In all the minutes Embiid played without Horford and Richardson this season, he saw his usage rate jump 5.2% to a team-high 38.5%.

His matchup tonight is a plus, as the Knicks are 22nd in defensive efficiency. Embiid is a steal at only $9,000 and building around him and Anthony Davis is a viable strategy for this 12-game slate.

Brandon Ingram: (SF/PF, $8,300)

Brandon Ingram is playing excellent this season. He is one of the front-runners for most improved player of the year, scoring 44.7 DraftKings fantasy points per game. Ingram has 45.5 DraftKings fantasy points per game in his last five contests, but only costs $8,300.

Tonight, the New Orleans Pelicans will continue to be without Derick Favors (personal), Zion Williamson (knee), and Lonzo Ball (illness). When these three players are off the floor this season, Ingram sees his usage rate rise 2.3%.

At a first glance, his matchup tonight is average against the Oklahoma Thunder, as they rank 14th in defensive efficiency for the season, but over their last three games, the Thunder rank as the worst defense in the league. The second-worst defense during that time span is the Pelicans.

This game should be high-scoring, and Ingram should produce another 40+ DraftKings fantasy point outing.

J.J. Redick: (SG/SF, $5,100)

J.J. Redick is another New Orleans Pelican that is underpriced. At his current salary, he only needs 25.5 DraftKings fantasy points to reach five times value.

In his last six games, the sharp-shooter is scoring 32.75 DraftKings fantasy points per game. Furthermore, Redick produced at least 27 DraftKings fantasy points in eight of his last nine contests.

As previously mentioned, Redick’s opponent tonight, the Oklahoma Thunder, are the worst defense in the league over their last three games. This game presents the fourth-highest game total of tonight’s 12-game slate, and Redick should have no issues returning five to seven times value in this environment.
