4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA FanDuel Lineup (11/25/19)

Thanksgiving week is here, and tonight we have a massive 11-game NBA slate on FanDuel.

Below are four of my favorite targets to help build your best NBA FanDuel lineup for Monday’s main slate.

As always, keep an eye out for news throughout the day, and feel free to contact me on Twitter with any questions.

For DraftKings, see Al Hunter’s articles.

Key Injuries to Watch:

Kawhi Leonard – Questionable (Knee)

Kemba Walker – Doubtful (Neck)

Rudy Gobert – Questionable (Ankle)

Draymond Green – Questionable (Heel)

Kevin Love – Questionable (Back)

Top NBA DFS Plays:

Trae Young (PG, $9,700)

Just one game removed from his first triple-double of the season, Trae Young is in another fantastic fantasy spot tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Young had a tremendous start to the season, averaging 25.9 points per game and 8.7 assists per game. He leads the Atlanta Hawks in usage rate at 33.4% and has a 57.1 true shooting percentage.

One of the main reasons to consider Young tonight is his game environment. The Timberwolves are playing at the third-highest pace in the league this season, which creates a pace-up game for the Hawks.

This game has the highest total on the slate at 235 points, which is currently 9 points higher than any other game.

At first look, fantasy owners will have enough quality value to comfortably afford Young at his price. The game environment for Young is ideal, and he is one of the better spend-up options of the night.

Spencer Dinwiddie (SG, $7,800)

Spencer Dinwiddie’s price has not increased enough to match his production level with Kyrie Irving out of the Brooklyn Nets’ lineup due to injury. Dinwiddie is in a great position to continue his positive form, as Irving is already ruled out for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

With Irving off the court this season, Dinwiddie averages a 32.0% usage rate and 1.17 FanDuel fantasy points per minute. He is averaging 25 points per game and 6.2 assists per game since Irving’s injury, and tonight’s matchup is an added bonus. Cleveland is ranked 24th in the league with a 112.0 defensive efficiency rating. The over/under is set at 217.5 total points via Vegas.

Dinwiddie is a quality mid-range target tonight and comes with a high floor at $7,000.

Value NBA DFS Plays:

Brad Wanamaker (PG, $4,000)

Celtics point guard Kemba Walker suffered a sprained neck in a scary collision against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night. He is currently listed as doubtful for tonight’s contest against the Sacramento Kings. As a result, the Celtics are the most appealing source of value for Monday’s slate, starting with point guard Brad Wanamaker.

Against the Nuggets, Wanamaker entered the game with six minutes left in the third quarter, playing the rest of the game. In the two games prior to Walker’s injury, Wanamaker played 27+ minutes both times.

Tonight, he should see minutes in the high 20s, if Walker doesn’t play.

Walker is averaging 32.3 minutes per game and a 27% usage rate this year. His absence means increased opportunity for Wanamaker.

This season, with both Walker and Gordon Hayward off the court, Wanamaker is averaging 0.95 FanDuel fantasy points per minute. At only $4,000, he is an easy value target tonight. He will be chalky, but plug him in and look to differentiate elsewhere.

Jaylen Brown (SF, $7,100)

Another underpriced Boston Celtic tonight is small forward Jaylen Brown. With Kemba Walker off the court this year, Brown is averaging 0.89 points per minute and a 25.2% usage rate.

In the second half of the game against the Denver Nuggets without Walker, Brown scored 28.9 FanDuel fantasy points.

One of the reasons that Brown is a great target is his playing time. Over the last nine games, Brown played less than 32 minutes once. He should see mid-30 minutes tonight against the Sacramento Kings and will be one of the focal points of the Celtic’s offensive game plan.

Although Brown is not priced in the normal “value” range, he is certainly underpriced on tonight’s slate if Kemba sits as expected.
