02 Oct Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings
Yuck! Five whole spots I dropped this week in the fantasy football rankings competition, and largely from trying to get too cute and hearing the voices that influence. I should have trusted myself and my process more, but instead I scrambled and tried to overcompensate down the stretch. It cost me, and pretty big when you’re already trying to play catch up. But I’m still Top 20 on the season, and no more buckling!
Let’s get back on track in Week 5, and take advantage of the data we now have available for the first quarter of the season. How can you not love Tyler Eifert this week?! Any warm body playing tight end going up against Arizona has feasted. As a team, they are allowing the fifth most yards per target in the league at 9.0, and Eifert should be able to take advantage. We also get Melvin Gordon and Golden Tate back, while some big names will be sidelined by injuries. Don’t be afraid to look ahead, taking some risks here and there. Foresight, not hindsight, is what we are looking for.
These fantasy football rankings cover all positions, preset at 1/2-point PPR as the default, and add IDP, as well. Use the Flex option to choose between players on your roster that you may be debating starting. Thank you, good luck, and find me on twitter for any additional questions.
