08 Nov 4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA DraftKings Lineup (11/8/19)
4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA DraftKings Lineup for November 8, 2019
Top NBA DFS Play:
Karl-Anthony Towns (C, $10,300)
Karl-Anthony Towns let down fantasy owners on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies with 49.75 DraftKings fantasy points, but go right back to him tonight.
He is on his home floor, where he scored nearly two additional DraftKings fantasy points per game over his career.
Towns faces off against the defensively inept Golden State Warriors. So far this season, they rank dead last in defensive efficiency and will remain without their best defender, Draymond Green (finger). The Warriors surrendered the third most DraftKings fantasy points per game to opposing centers.
The Minnesota Timberwolves currently possesses a 121.75-point implied team total, which is the highest mark on tonight’s 11-game slate. In the five previous games that the Wolves were projected for 120 points or more, Towns played tremendously with 61 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
Don’t over think this one and build around KAT.
Value NBA DFS Plays:
Hassan Whiteside (C, $6,500)
Yesterday, Hassan Whiteside was way too cheap for his potential upside, especially in an elite matchup.
Tonight, he is in an even better situation. In 27 minutes on the court, he scored a season-best 48.25 DraftKings fantasy points in last night’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The game total of that contest was 229 points, and tonight’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets is even higher at 237 points. This will be the highest total Whiteside has ever competed in.
After last night, he is now averaging 44.5 DraftKings fantasy points per game in contests with a game total of 225 points or more this season. Not only is this game expected to be the highest-scoring of the night, but Brooklyn presents one of the best matchups in basketball for opposing centers.
The Nets allowed the fourth most DraftKings points to opposing centers, and in his last four meetings with the Nets, Whiteside is scoring 42 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
At only $6,500, he is a value that must be used in all formats.
Damian Lillard (PG, $9,000)
Damian Lillard will thrive tonight against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets rank as the fastest team in the league and have given up the fourth most DraftKings fantasy points per game to opposing point guards.
Lillard is currently having an excellent season, averaging 51.8 DraftKings fantasy points per game. Prior to last night, Lillard produced over 50 DraftKings fantasy points in four straight games.
This is the highest game total of Lillard’s career, and the Portland Trail Blazers have an implied team total of 120 points, which is second only to the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
Expect nothing less than 50 DraftKings fantasy points from Lillard in this spot.
Jimmy Butler (SG/SF, $7,400)
Jimmy Butler is too cheap to ignore tonight, even if he is playing against the Los Angeles Lakers, who are currently the top-rated defense in the NBA.
At his $7,400 salary, he needs to produce 37 DraftKings fantasy points to reach five times value. So far this season, Butler is contributing 42.9 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
Miami will be without Justice Winslow (head) tonight for the fourth time already this season. In the three games Winslow missed, Butler has been outstanding with 48.75 DraftKings fantasy points per game, which is an elite 1.52 DraftKings fantasy points per minute.
Regardless of the matchup, he should return close to six times value tonight.
