LeBron James Best NBA DraftKings Lineup

4 Players To Help Build Your Best NBA DraftKings Lineup for November 13, 2019

by Al Hunter

Welcome back, folks.

Tonight, we have a moderate seven-game slate.

Below are four players to help build your best NBA DraftKings lineup for November 13, 2019.

As always, if you need any further advice, feel free to reach out on Twitter.

Top NBA DFS Play:

LeBron James (PG/SF, $10,700)

LeBron James is putting together an excellent season  with 55.7 DraftKings fantasy points per game. His usage rate will be very high tonight with Anthony Davis (ribs, shoulder) out.

James is already averaging a healthy 30.9% usage rate this season, but when Davis is off the floor, this rate skyrockets to 38.1%.

James is scoring 1.7 DraftKings fantasy points per minute without AD this year, and his matchup tonight is excellent against the Golden State Warriors. They rank as the worst defense in the league.

A blowout is possible according to Vegas as the Lakers are favorited by eight points, but Los Angeles is weaker on defense without Davis, making this game more competitive and higher scoring.

When Davis is off the court, Los Angeles sees their defensive rating drop 3.8 points. This is a possible triple-double spot for James, and he is underpriced at $10,700.

Value NBA DFS Plays:

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (PF/C, $4,500)

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is expected to start at small forward tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers with OG Anunoby (eye) out. Anunoby only played two minutes on Monday night, and after he exited, Hollis-Jefferson logged a season-high 28.5 minutes off the bench.

He took full advantage of his expanded role and playing time, posting a 23.3% usage rate and recording 28.25 DraftKings fantasy points. It wasn’t surprising to see Hollis-Jefferson produce solid numbers, as he supplied 0.96 DraftKings fantasy points per minute over the last three seasons.

In the last 10 contests that he has seen 25 minutes or more, the former Brooklyn Net is averaging 33.2 DraftKings fantasy points per game.

The Toronto Raptors are missing three key players in Anunoby, Kyle Lowry (thumb), and Serge Ibaka (ankle). They should use an extremely tight rotation tonight, and if he sees 25 to 30 minutes of court time, Hollis-Jefferson should eclipse over six times value.

Fred VanVleet (PG/SG, $7,100)

With Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka out, Fred VanVleet almost played the entire game. He logged a whopping 45.3 minutes against the Los Angeles Clippers, which is the highest amount of playing time he has ever seen in his career.

Toronto Raptors’ head coach Nick Nurse only used eight players after O.G. Anunoby got hurt, and VanVleet will be asked to play 40+ minutes again in Wednesday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

When Lowry, Ibaka, and Anunoby sit this season, VanVleet sees significant bumps to all his rates. His usage rate increases 5.3% and his assist percentage elevates a massive 9.2%, resulting in 1.0 DraftKings fantasy points per minute.

With another huge workload tonight, VanVleet should outproduce his current salary against a Portland defense that ranks 18th in defensive efficiency.

Jaren Jackson (PF/C, $4,800)

On Monday night, Jaren Jackson played a season-high 38 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs. To no one’s surprise, JJ flourished with a season-best 44 DraftKings fantasy points, helping the Memphis Grizzlies pick up the win. This was the third game in a row that Jackson logged at least 30 minutes.

Jackson should continue to play 30+ minutes tonight. He will be in a dream matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. They rank 23rd in defensive efficiency and have surrendered the most points in the paint per game this season.

Big men bully this defense on a nightly basis, and Jackson should easily surpass five times value in this matchup. In his last 10 games with 30+ minutes, he is averaging 34.9 DraftKings fantasy points per game.
