Paul Duncan

Scouting Director

Paul returns for his second year with Expand The Boxscore, where he has been promoted to the role of Scouting Director. In addition to compiling 23 reports of his own, he was a driving force behind the 2020 XTB NFL Draft Guide, coordinating and assisting in all 378 total reports in the guide. Additionally, he produced a scouting podcast series, hosting several prominent figures in the industry and picking their brain on experience and scouting tips.

Paul has past experience as a video scout for two seasons at PFF, and three seasons as a game charter overall. He received scouting training from former Browns GM and Senior Bowl Director Phil Savage, and former Browns and Saints scout Matt Manocherian.

Mitchell Wolfe XTB

Mitchell Wolfe

Scouting Coordinator

Mitchell joins Expand The Boxscore having secured the role of Scouting Coordinator, where he will oversee and organize all of the XTB Scouting Reports. He hails from Central Pennsylvania, but loves all things Pittsburgh, and recently earned a Master’s degree in Sport Business with a concentration in Sports Analytics from Temple University.

Mitch is a graduate of the The Scouting Academy, and has worked for Pro Football Focus in the past as well. He is interested in developing ways to incorporate data-based decision-making into the scouting and drafting process.

Sales Pinckney XTB

Sales Pinckney

Senior Scout

Sales returns for a second year with XTB, having completed 48 reports in the 2020 NFL Draft Guide – including all of the special teams players, which went as deep as Long Snappers. A four year Defensive Tackle, and Long Snapper himself, at Division 3 Rhodes College, he has experience in data collection, analysis, and scouting for both Football and Baseball.

Tim Lettiero XTB

Tim Lettiero

Tim returns for a second year with XTB, having complete 26 scouting reports in the 2020 NFL Draft Guide. A native of southern Connecticut, his interest in football has been life-long, where he has found a niche in scouting and hopes to continue into the pros, or even as a college recruiter. A Sports-Leisure Management major, who is knowledgeable in all aspects of sports, and plans to get a career in this field.

Britton Mann XTB

Britton tallied 23 reports for the 2020 XTB NFL Draft Guide, and returns for another year in the same capacity. A former collegiate Track & Field athlete at High Point University, he studied political science, economics, and philosophy. Britton also has worked for Sports Info Solutions as a scout (2019).

Matt Mercier XTB

A Data Science major at the University of Michigan, Matt returns to XTB for a second season, having contributed 14 scouting reports to the 2020 NFL Draft Guide. He has molded his propensity for data, and his love for football, into his analytics infused scouting. His loyalty to the Michigan Wolverines is second only to his passionate hatred of Ohio State.

Zach Apt XTB

Scout

Zach returns for his second year with XTB, having turned out 19 scouting reports for the 2020 NFL Draft Guide. A Rutgers graduate in 2017 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice & Psychology, and then Winthrop University in 2019 with a M.S. in Sport & Fitness Administration. In 2018, he was an assistant football coach for Chester High School, going undefeated and winning the state championship during his time there.

Marcus Johnson XTB

Marcus Johnson

Scout

Marcus Johnson is a native of Phoenix, Arizona where he played high school football receiving All-Region at the Cornerback position. He played a year of Community College football before turning to music, and now has come back around to football. Marcus has been a contributor for Cowboys Wire, Pro Football Network, and has recently done work for Raiders Wire. A Scouting Academy graduate, he had his hands in the 2018 Inside The Pylon Draft Guide, as well scouting offensive lineman. He returns for his second year with XTB, where he totaled 15 reports towards the 2020 NFL Draft Guide.

Dillon Gonzalez XTB

Dillon Gonzalez joins Expand The Boxscore having experience as a football coach and scouting student. A native of Tampa, in 2020 he studied General Manager duties and Scouting from former Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik, as well as current Montreal Alouettes Director of U.S. Scouting Russ Lande, and John Wooten, a former player and executive. In joining XTB Dillon looks to continue building the necessary skills needed to obtain his aspirations of being an NFL Scout.

Connor Donald

Hailing from New Brunswick, Canada, Connor Donald joins XTB as a Scout focusing on the annual Draft Guide and summer scouting reports. Over the last four years he has written and podcasted in the Fantasy Football sphere with True North Fantasy Football, as well as Sports Talk Philly covering the Eagles. With XTB he looks to expand his skillset into scouting and player evaluation, with the goal of becoming a Reporter or Beat Writer in the future. Connor is dedicated to bringing simplicity to scouting, in order to help all football watchers more easily understand and digest what to look for in a player going from CFB to the NFL.
