30 Sep Daily Fantasy Must Plays for Week 4
With week 4 of the NFL season here, there are plenty of spicy matchups that come with it. Having to pick only a few players made this week tougher than usual. After some careful thinking and number crunching, these are my top daily fantasy plays for Week 4.
Quarterback – Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tom Brady is my top pick to be Week 4’s top QB in daily fantasy. Brady is fresh off a three touchdown performance against the Denver Broncos and this week faces a banged up Los Angeles Chargers secondary that just lost Chris Harris Jr. Expect Brady to continue to succeed through the air as he’ll have his first 300-yard passing game of the season and throw for another three touchdowns.
Brady has been playing better each week and this matchup gives me no fear of getting him into my lineup. The biggest key for me is to look at the trends: Brady and the Bucs are trending up while the Chargers are suffering some devastating injuries and continue to struggle stopping opposing offenses.
It’s a match made in heaven for Brady and he will cash in on Sunday.
Running Back – Kenyan Drake, Arizona Cardinals
Kenyan Drake is due for a breakout game and this week’s matchup against the Panthers is when it happens. Carolina currently is near the bottom of the NFL in run defense. Week 1 they gave up 35+ points to Josh Jacobs, 27+ to Leonard Fournette in Week 2, and 30+ to Austin Ekeler Week 3.
Carolina has a glaring weakness and it is stopping the running game. I see Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury continuing to feed Drake with plenty of touches in this game and two touchdowns. Put Drake in your lineups this week, you will not regret it.
Wide Receiver – Kenny Golladay, Detroit Lions
Kenny Golladay has an intriguing matchup this week against the New Orleans Saints. Golladay returned from injury last week and he flashed his playmaking ability with an incredible touchdown grab against the Cardinals. The Matthew Stafford-to-Golladay connection is absolutely lethal, and going we will get to see it on full display.
Golladay is my top play of the week and is arguably the best red zone receiver in the league. I expect him to hit pay dirt at least once on top of a 100-yard performance. Look back to Darren Waller in Week 2 and Allen Lazard in Week 3 to some of the Saints’ recent issues with bigger, athletic receiving threats.
I’m investing as much as I can in him this week in daily fantasy and you should too. You do not want to be the player who misses out on this money-making matchup. Play Kenny Golladay and reap the rewards, you will not regret it.
Tight End – Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
Tyler Higbee is back in my lineups this week with a wonderful matchup against the New York Giants. It has been a roller coaster start so far this season for Higbee, but facing the porous Giants defense this week he should find the end zone with ease. The Rams offense is starting to heat up and Higbee is a key component in their success.
The Giants continue to be unable to slow down a strong passing attack and with Higbee‘s ability to find holes in defense, this matchup is too good to pass up. We have already seen Higbee‘s ability to get in the end zone, so this is the week he adds 100 yards receiving to his resume.
100 yards and a touchdown or two sounds like some daily fantasy money-making numbers to me. I will ride the Higbee rollercoaster together straight to another top TE performance.
